My work as a designer and design educator has allowed me to share my vision of ‘doing good, for good – by design.’ My life mantra is all about living with ‘heart’ – to actively live a life which considers the benefits of not only the individual, but of the global community and the environment here on our planet. My work as a designer and design educator has allowed me to share this vision with others, and I’m delighted to work alongside a bunch of amazing creatives’ who share similar values of creativity, curiosity and the desire to create something special, meaningful and sustainable.
To give someone kudos bestows praise and many, many, hand-clapping commendations for achievements. In the following interviews, I wanted to find out whether creativity and sustainability are mutually exclusive or compatible with the design process. These interviews give credit and kudos to my collaborators, colleagues, students and other creative business owners who are actively challenging the way we create, and as a result, are doing ‘good’ and amazing things.
In honour of all you amazing people… Kudos! x

Kudos! To Sally Prickett and her twin sister Bec for their gorgeous textiles-led fashion label, Colour Coded Clothing. This locally designed and produced label is just my cup of coffee – bright patterns digitally printed onto natural fibres, cut into low-waste shapes, within boxy silhouettes, manufactured right here in Melbourne. >>> READ INTERVIEW
