Emily has created a short course that is custom tailored to individual needs, no matter what experience level. She is so engaging and welcomed us into her studio space which felt more like hanging out at a friend’s place, rather than a classroom! Within the course, Emily helped me uncover my strengths and gave me the confidence to create my own patterns, in my own style. There was no question left unanswered and I was given a great insight into the surface pattern design industry. I would highly recommend Emily and her course to anyone! – Victoria Ward, 2017
After completing the short course I feel more confident using Adobe Photoshop to build repeat patterns, and have an understanding of the digital printing process.Emily has created a learning environment that is warm and inspiring, where creativity is encouraged to blossom. The intimate class size meant that the content was tailored to me and I had the opportunity to ask a million questions. Perhaps the most valuable thing I took from this course was the opportunity to pick Emily’s brain for helpful tips, industry knowledge and gain an insight into her own creative process. Highly recommend! – Marianne Duval, 2017
Having not ever opened or used Photoshop before, to using it with confidence and comfort within the 8 week program, I was both surprised and thrilled. I have always been intimidated by the program but curious to give it a go. The class size was perfect and enough ‘attention’ given to each student depending on their needs. The working environment was comfortable and relaxed from the moment we arrived. Emily was professional, but also friendly and approachable. – Deb McNaughton, 2017
